German Black Metallers DIES ATER started in 1994. But before that Drummer Eugen (aka Impurus) had a Solo Project called CROMLECH. A Demo tape was planned, but it was never released. In early 2021 the Idea came back and he recorded single-handedly these old tracks again, together with completely new material in his Lighthill Studio. Impurus says about it “If you want, these recordings show the Pre and Post Phase of DIES ATER and it’s great the long forgotten Idea becomes reality after 29 years. I was a long time out of creating Black Metal music and pathetically said it felt like coming home”.
