Old Man’s Child second album, “The Pagan Prosperity”, was initially released in 1997 and was their first album for Century Media Records, with whom the band would remain for their career. With the black metal scene overcrowding in the late 1990s, the band moved away from their Dimmu Borgir/Emperor-inspired roots and into something new and vital. A more measured pace allowed the band to find some more catchiness and hooks in their material, making for one extremely refreshing and listenable album from start to finish.
